Our
Story
Connecting Resources to Global Needs, Inc. (CRGN) provides direct services to individuals and provides access to health, education, and financial resources to underserved youth and their families. Services are not contingent upon any membership or physical address.
CRGN's mission is charitable. Most of the budget will be funded through private gifts from donors, grants, and fundraisers. CRGN works closely with for-profit businesses that will make annual gifts to the Organization. Fundraising will be conducted across the state of Georgia, wherever potential donors, grant givers, and/or benefactors are located.
The Organization has four main focuses: (1) Access to Financial Resources, (2) Education, (3.) Access to Quality Healthcare, and (4) Global and Community Support. As a part of its operations, the Organization plans to operate the following programs and activities:
1. Providing human and financial resources to provide quality healthcare for women
affected by chronic diseases.
2. Providing access to clean water for villages in western and eastern African countries. The Organization will accomplish this goal by partnering with established US organizations to complete projects and raising money to construct Water Towers.
3. Provide financial resources for African youth to attend credible schools (k-12) so that they can pass national tests. This will be implemented by partnering with local African schools, directly benefiting local youth.
4. Providing essential education materials (books, school supplies, educational software/hardware) to local schools earmarked for youth affected by HIV.
5. Providing access to spiritual wellness programming to African families through local Christian organizations; this will be accomplished by designing a comprehensive life skills curriculum for use by religious leaders- and other faith-based organizations).
6. Connecting US youth to a global community through international community service learning; to broaden their exposure and sensitivity to world issues.
